3The unused protector leads should be cut-off in the area where they exit the bundle. They should be cut-off at different lengths (approx. ¼"
difference) to prevent the bare ends from touching one another. The remaining portion of the unused protector leads must then be ty-rapped
rigidly to the stator coils to prevent the exposed ends from touching any other component .
